If you don’t know Chiang Mai well, Nimmanhaemin Road and its radiating soislanes featured quiet residential homes until about a quarter of a century ago, when the growing population and rising popularity of the city began to bridge the gap between Chiang Mai University and the old city. Nimmanhaemin started to attract the city’s creative class  the architects, the baristas, the gallery owners, the restaurateurs. In the last several years the neighbourhood has matured into something more layered. One Nimman, the open-air lifestyle complex at the top of the road, draws weekend crowds for its food stalls,craft vendors and rotating events.
